Domoic Acid qPCR detection kit (real-time PCR kit for the DabA gene region)

Domoic acid is a marine associated toxin whose presence can be monitored by detecting its conserved genetic marker, DabA. The DabA region serves as a specific and reliable target for qPCR based identification of demoic acid producing organisms. Using primers and a fluorescent probe designed for the DabA gene, the qPCR assay enables sensitive, real time amplification and fluorescence based detection of the target sequence, providing a rapid and precise method for evaluating the presence of domoic acid associated genetic material in extracted gDNA samples.
