Lumos Diagnostics’ Leelu fluorescent lateral flow reader is a highly flexible instrument that has utility in assay development, assay optimization, device production, test validation, quality control and device deployment for its intended use. The Leelu enables standardization of lateral flow strip analysis across research, manufacturing and deployable product utility. The Leelu is also a launching point for Lumos portable reader systems that are compatible with cell phone enabled integration and suitable for use in regulated diagnostic applications (i.e. in vitro diagnostic devices). Notably, it is not uncommon for users of fluorescent assays to transition from the Leelu instrument to a fully integrated regulatory approved product.
