NALF: Nucleic Acid Lateral Flow – Directly detects nucleic acids exploiting capture and labeled reporter oligonucleotide probes. In this kit the capture probe is immobilized to the nitrocellulose using a biotin-streptavidin complex while the detector nucleic acid is detected using a FAM/FITC gold conjugate. Attogene offers custom capture oligonucleotide conjugation services to attached to the BSA carrier. Chemically attaching the capture probe to BSA forms a more stable conjugate that can be sprayed or spotted for multiplex detection of targets.
The “On Strip” Nucleic Acid Hybridization Lateral Flow Starter Kit provides all the needed components required to attach a biotinylated nucleic acid to a nitrocellulose membrane securly and run tests with complimentry hybridization probes.
